  • Can handle reactions of ~180 KGs with 2 KGs of pressure.
  • The reactors are placed under isolated shade with automated operations at Vizag.
  • License obtained from PESO for storage of 40 cylinders of 7 KG capacity and use of Carbon monoxide.
  • Acylation : Handled AlCl3 and BCl3 on scale.
  • Amination : Cu mediated amination in autoclave pressure.
  • Amidation : Ammonia, methylamine, ethylamine and anilines on acid chlorides of alkyl and aryl acids.
  • Condensation : Aldol, Claisen, Dieckmen, Mannich, Stobbe, Friedlander and Knovenagel.
  • Grignards : Handled Turbo Grignards and Grignard reagents with lanthanum chloride and Lithium chloride complexes.
  • Diazotisation : Handled Sodium nitrite, Isoamyl nitrite and Tert-butyl nitrite on scale.
  • Dehalogenation : Dehalogenation reactions carried on aliphatic and aromatic compounds using metal insertion (Zn, Pd, Sn, Mg, etc).
  • Hydrogenation : Debenzylations, Olefins, Nitro, Cyano and Oxime reductions
  • Heterocyclic Chemistry : Synthesized Pyrazoles, Oxazoles, Isoxazoles, Thiazoles, Oxadiazoles, Pyrimidines, Pyrazines, Morpholines, Triazoles, Indoles,Quinolines Isoquinolines, Benzofurans, Imidazoles, Benzimidazoles.
  • Reduction : LiAlH4, NaBH4, LiBH4, Dibal-H, Vitride, Triethylsilane, NaBH4/CeCl3 and NaBH4/BF3Etherate/TMSCl.
  • Resolutions and separations
  • Oxidation : Oxidations using Tempo, MCPBA, H2O2, Oxone and also palladium and RuCl2(PPh3)3 on scale.
  • Suzuki Coupling : Using Pd/C, Pd(OAc)2, PdCl2(PPh3)2, Pd(PPh3)4, Pd(dppf)Cl2 in dry and aqueous conditions.
  • Sonogashira Coupling : Synthesis of alkynes.
  • Peptide Chemistry : Handled peptide coupling reagents – DCC EDCl, TBTU and HBTU. Synthesized tetra-peptide with 4 different amino acids.
